Higea is an innovative mobile application framed within the field of digital health and telemedicine, which has been designed to provide comprehensive support and
accompaniment to patients with continence disorders. The main objective of this digital solution is to facilitate patient education regarding their anatomy and the different
self-catheterization and self-catheterization techniques, offering users appropriate modules and tools for learning.
Higea belongs to the category of digital health and medicine applications. Its specific focus on the management of patients with continence disorders makes it a specialized
and highly relevant tool for those who face the difficult situation of dealing with urinary or fecal incontinence problems. The app provides a trusted source of information
and support, helping users manage their condition more effectively and regain a better quality of life.
The App access screen presents the name of the solution along with the logo and two open boxes where you can enter the credentials: username and password.
The main screen of Higea shows the initial interface along with the different sections and functionalities included in the solution:
In the upper left part of the screen, you can access the patient card, with basic information on the diagnosis and treatment. Additionally, in the upper central part there
is the notifications or notices section, where you can read notices about tasks that the user has pending, such as questionnaires or pending educational modules.
In the central area of ​​the screen you can access the sections:
- Educational material. It includes a set of didactic typology material focused on improving knowledge of aspects related to the anatomy of the urinary and intestinal
system, catheterization and catheterization techniques, etc.
- Assigned objectives. It includes the list of objectives agreed upon with the patient and the status of compliance.
- Questionnaires. It includes a series of questionnaires, the results of which will be shared with the clinical team, allowing them to evaluate the progress of the treatment
and the patient's quality of life.
- Record of symptoms. Where the patient can record the symptoms they have experienced and which will be shared with the clinical team.
At the bottom of the screen you will find other features:
